We are here to give you the necessary advice and to introduce you to JAMB Regularization and the procedures involved because we know that if you have found any errors in your admission records with JAMB, it is likely causing you anxiety.
Students or recent graduates can correct inaccuracies in their admissions records with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board by completing the JAMB Regularization process. This procedure guarantees that your admission information corresponds with JAMB’s records, allowing you to process your National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization and/or receive a legitimate JAMB Admission Letter.
Who Needs JAMB Regularization?
Generally, if you are categorized under the following list, it will be necessary to process JAMB regularization
1 Admission via Direct Entry (DE) without UTME: You must regularize your admission if you were accepted straight into a postsecondary institution—such as Direct Entry or Polytechnic entrance—without first completing JAMB.
2. Late Admission: Regularization should be your next course of action if your institution accepted you without obtaining JAMB approval or without adhering to the correct JAMB processes.
3 No registration number for JAMB: You will need to regularize your full enrollment if you have completed a postsecondary institution and do not possess a valid JAMB registration number.
4 Mismatch in Admission Type: Regularization will be required if you discover that the information in your JAMB site does not match the records of your institution (e.g., course of study, year of admission, or institution), even though this is less common than it should be.
5. For the Mobilization of NYSC: You will need to go through JAMB regularization if you are a graduate getting ready for NYSC and your name is not on the JAMB matriculation list.
