JAMB Change of Institution 2025
Did you fill out the 2025 JAMB UTME form incorrectly, or are you one of the candidates who wants to switch institutions? Don’t worry; JAMB provides provisions for data rectification.
Under the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) Change of Institution policy, you can transfer from the university to another of your choosing as long as both provide the degree you want to take and there are still spots available.
It’s interesting to note that even after completing the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), you can still do this.Students who are admitted directly may also ask for a change of course.Candidates who are eligible for this choice include:
- Error on the registration form
- Make the decision to change institutions for personal reasons.

Change of Institution Form Cost
The cost of changing your institution and updating your biodata is around N2,500.00. When you are ready to start the process, JAMB will ask for this money.
To pay for this service on JAMB CAPS, you can use your ATM card or any other preferred payment gateway.
JAMB 2025 Change of Institution Procedures
To begin your data rectification process, go to the nearest JAMB-accredited center. Nevertheless, you can accomplish this on your own by following the detailed instructions below:
