How to create Jamb profile
To create a JAMB profile, follow these steps:
1. Obtain a JAMB e-PIN
You can get your JAMB e-PIN through:
- Online Payment: Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal and pay online with a card or via bank transfer.
- Bank Payment: Visit any approved bank or payment outlet, request for the JAMB e-PIN, and make payment.
- USSD Payment: You can also pay via USSD by following the USSD payment instructions.
2. Send Your NIN to JAMB via SMS
- Open your phone’s SMS application.
- Send your NIN (National Identification Number) to 55019 or 66019 in this format:
NIN 12345678901(where “12345678901” is your unique NIN). - You will receive a confirmation message containing your Profile Code.
3. Register on the JAMB Portal
- Go to the official JAMB website: https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility.
- Click on Create an Account/Sign Up.
- Fill in your details, including:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile Code (obtained after sending your NIN)
- Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
- Complete the remaining profile registration details, including your biodata (name, date of birth, gender, etc.).
4. Upload Your O’ Level Results (If Available)
You may upload your O’ Level results during or after registration on the JAMB portal. Make sure you upload the correct results as it will be used for admission purposes.
5. Print Your JAMB Profile Confirmation
After successfully creating your profile, you can log in to your JAMB portal using the email and password you created and print your profile details for record-keeping.
