How to Register for JAMB 2025

Do you have what it takes to register for the the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination? Please register for the test by following the instructions below.

1. JAMB profile code must be created first, and you must buy your e-pin from an authorized dealer.

2. To start the online registration process, bring the e-PIN and other necessary paperwork to any approved CBT center. If you haven’t bought an e-PIN yet, you can also ask for assistance at your center on how to obtain one.

3. Create JAMB profile with your legitimate email and phone number and take note of your password.

4. JAMB will email you a verification link after your profile has been created. To validate your profile, open the email and click the link.

5. Begin entering your biodata and uploading the necessary files along with your O-level results. When filling out the registration form, avoid using nicknames.

6. After completing the registration process, print the Registration Slip. Your exam center and timetable are on the slip. A complimentary CD with the JAMB curriculum and brochure will be provided to you.

WARNING: Candidates may not apply for both the UTME and the DE simultaneously. If a candidate submits more than one application, their profile may be deleted.

Eligibility Criteria for JAMB Registration

Nigerian students who wish to enroll in postsecondary institutions must first register with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). You must have specific documents in order to register for UTME.

1. The NIN, or national identification number

The unique 11-digit number that acts as proof of citizenship is now required for JAMB registration, unlike in the past when it was not. However, before registering for the JAMB UTME, aspirants must enroll for NIN at any NIMC registration centre.

2. O-level Results

Another essential document required before to JAMB 2025 registration is O-level results. At least five (5) O’Level Credits, including English Language, are required. For social science and science-based programs, credit in mathematics is necessary. Candidates can also register if they are awaiting results.

3. Eligibility for the Program

Before beginning the online registration procedure, it is crucial that candidates review the JAMB Brochure to understand the prerequisites for the programs they have selected. The brochure is easily accessible at www.jamb.gov.ng/ibass.

4. The JAMB ePIN

Any authorized source, including banks, online payment systems, CBT centers, etc., can sell you your ePIN. Only those who have registered may use this pin.

5. Recommended Novel

All applicants must read the Lekki Headmaster novel, which has been recommended by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board as the official JAMB 2025 novel. The cost of this text was N500. The book is available at CBT facilities in your state that have been approved by JAMB.
